10. Cowboy Christmas – Las Vegas Convention Center- December 3rd to December 12th

9. The Great Santa Run -Opertunity Village- December 5th

Tis the season for giving! The Las Vegas Santa Run is the perfect opportunity to do so! This is one of Opportunity Village’s most important fundraisers of the year. Throw on a Santa costume and get your butt down there and get lost in a swarm of over 10,000 Santas! They will be providing prerace entertainment and a zip line rides, so don’t miss out!

8. Movie night- Container Park- December 5th, 12th and 19th

Container Park is a hip little spot located near Freemont where all the hipsters flock. With tiny little stores, that no one has ever heard of, Container Park is the place to be. Especially this winter! Every Saturday leading up to Christmas Container Park will be hosting a movie night featuring your favorite holiday classics. Come cozy up with friends, grab a cup of hot chocolate and enjoy a peaceful night at the park!

7. Magical forest- Opportunity Village – November 20th to January 3rd

This is every local’s favorite spot to visit during the holidays, located off the strip, come visit the beautiful wonderland that Opportunity village has put together for the community to enjoy. This is family friendly and great for a date night, you will be surrounded by millions of lights and decorated trees. It’s the perfect spot to have a great time, and give back a little because all proceeds raised at the Magical Forest will benefit people with disabilities at Opportunity Village.

6. Glittering Lights at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway – November 13th to January 3rd

Featuring more than two million sparkling and animated displays along a 2.5 mile drive the Motor Speedway will be hosting its annual drive through light show. Considered to be one of Nevada’s largest light show, come enjoy the beautiful lights and spectacular displays!

5. Conservatory Botanical Garden- Bellagio– December 4th to January 3rd

Surrounded by twinkling lights, ornaments and a 42- food holiday tree the Bellagio will have you swimming in nostalgia. The whole room will be decked from bottom to top in warm lights and ornaments. Come explore this winter wonderland made up almost entirely of flowers as holiday music dances through the room.

4. Snow in the Square- Town Square- November 14th to December 23rd

All this holiday cheer is making you a little nostalgic for that classic white Christmas, yet your stuck in this adult playground we call Las Vegas.  While walking down the boulevard you are bitterly staring up at that replica Eiffel tower asking yourself, “why can Vegas make a giant replica of a tower but it can’t have snow?” Well you’re in luck this year. It may barely be hitting 45 degrees outside, but Vegas never disappoints. Make your way down to Town Square this winter to enjoy its Snow in the Square. They will be making all your winter wonderland dreams come true this winter within Town Square’s park. You’ll get to watch snow drifting down all around you choreographed to classic holiday music.

3. The Cosmopolitan – Ice skating rink – November 21st to January 4th

It may barely be hitting 40 degrees outside but that doesn’t stop Vegas from providing the full winter time experience. The Cosmopolitan will be setting up an Ice Rink in the boulevard pool area resting right above the strip. Enjoy this winter wonderland resting above the strip as you zip around in circles and watch the city light up right before your eyes. Get tired of skating? Cozy up around fire pits stationed around the rink so you can roast some s’mores and enjoy a few beers with friends.

2. Ugly Sweater Run – Sunset Park – December 5th

Holiday music has been echoing through the walls of every store and restaurant you’ve gone to these past few weeks, Starbucks has their holiday cups out, and Lows has out their huge selection of holiday decorations peering at you. Face it. Holiday season is here and there is no escaping it. It is time to rummage through your closet and bust out the scarfs, hats, and sweaters. More specifically your ugly sweaters, because Las Vegas’s annual Ugly sweater run is back again. Come enjoy some hot chocolate and beer with us as we attempt to run (more like walk) this 5k!

1. Holiday Havoc- Hard Rock Hotel at the Joint – December 15th
