Mega-resorts and casinos like Caesars Palace, Bellagio, and Mandalay Bay may get all the attention in Vegas, but there are also some hidden gems worth discovering here. If you dig a little deeper beyond the Sin City favorites, you’ll find a handful of equally charming casinos that are somewhat underrated, yet just as appealing.

The Silverton

The swimming mermaids are reason enough to veer off the I-15 to find this out-of-the-way casino. Don’t forget to sample the Asian-inspired menu at the Silverton’s casual eatery, WuHu Noodle.

Palms Casino Resort

Located about a mile from The Strip, this casino has taken a dive in popularity over the year, but it’s still worth visiting. Home to the world’s largest Hooters, meaning the restaurant, Palms offers plenty of fun distractions, including a lobby bar and some killer restaurants. The dayclub is also a favorite stop on our Las Vegas party bus tour.

Eastside Cannery Hotel & Casino

This retro-themed hotel-slash-casino is one of the bright spots in an area of Vegas with a nefarious rep. Just look for the bright neon lights and distinctive architecture and you’ll be treated to casino staples and entertainment that includes an assortment of seventies and eighties acts.

Primm Valley Resorts

Primm Valley, Buffalo Bill’s, and Whiskey Pete’s are the three casinos making up a resort that’s usually a pit stop for gas and eats rather than an intended destination. If you stick around, you’ll find prime shopping opportunities, an arena that attracts some impressive artists, and a golf course–and then there’s the roller coaster looping through one of the casinos.

Ellis Island Casino & Brewery

Do Vegas on the cheap while still enjoying some excellent eats and tasty brews by adding this spot to your itinerary. Just a couple blocks from The Strip, Ellis Island offers plenty of energy, scrumptious BBQ selections, affordable steaks, ruckus karaoke nights, and an in-house microbrewery.

If you’ve never been to Vegas, you might want to stick to the well-trodden path. You can sample the best of the dayclubs or nightclubs on our club crawl Las Vegas tourists and locals both love. Head to our website to check out the clubs where we stop and to book your tour!
